Adolescent Counseling in Cincinnati

Get coping skills for teenagers dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, panic attacks, social anxiety, and more.

Teenagers today deal with more pressure, bullying, and distractions than any other generation. We can provide a safe space to process family dynamics, school pressures, future planning, and more. Come in person in North College Hill (directions) or do telehealth via our secure video platform (client must be in Ohio). Sessions are 45 minutes and the fee varies depending on the therapist (sliding fee scale available upon request). We are out of network, so the only insurance payments we can take are HSA payments. Watch how much time you spend on social media

  1. Try to use it for direct communication with friends (instead of doom scrolling), so you can actually grow those relationships

  2. Use the Screen Time app (or something similar) to track and limit your time on apps you know aren’t helpful to your mental health.

  3. Move social apps off your home page so you don’t check them every spare moment of your day

Tap into a long-term vision

Deep down you know your life is more than TikTok and Snap. Try this vision exercise:

  1. Describe the person you want to be in 10 years. What is that person like? What are they doing? Who are they friends with?

  2. Write out the big milestones you would have to hit to become that person. Things like high school, college, jobs, relationships.

  3. Choose the first milestone and write one thing you could do today to take a step towards that. Then set a reminder on your phone to check in with this list once a week.
